I feel most aligned with my purpose when I’m supporting other humans in healing their wounds so they can step more fully into their own path of purpose. My goal as a therapist is to lay out the Welcome mat and create a space that allows my clients to come home to who they really are.

I believe that:

  • Everyone moves at the pace that is right for them. And good therapy is an art and science of both following your lead and guiding the pace of the process. Sometimes, that looks like slowing down so we can establish a stronger & safer foundation for healing— and other times, it looks like compassionately challenging you to face the things you know you need to in order to heal.

  • Living with anxiety or depression can feel like carrying a boulder on your back 24/7. Of course, none of us would choose that— so it can be strange to think that it’s possible to choose something different through engaging in therapy. But the magic of neuroplasticity and therapeutic change can absolutely support you in finally setting that boulder down (or… maybe we can smash it into a million pieces together. 🤗)

  • All foods are fuel, and we move because we are animals— not because we need to “burn off” that cookie. Society has given us a tangled mess of messages around food, movement, and our bodies. Health is not determined by size or weight, and ALL bodies are equally worthy. Together, we can unlearn the distorted beliefs you’ve inherited from culture (and sometimes family, too)— and redesign a relationship with your body and food that feels free and empowered.

My purpose at The Gaia Center is to provide a safe, compassionate space to support you in to lean in to the process of healing so you can release the heavy burdens of your suffering, and skill-building so you can bloom into the the version of yourself you were always meant to be.

I work with teens and adults navigating eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, and depression, and I love encouraging and empowering folks who are eager to embrace their true selves.

Human First:

When I’m not working, I’m usually tending to my pets (who happen to be plants), reading thrillers, lifting weights, and playing volleyball. I’ve also started venturing into baking, and am working on getting my banana bread just right. I love game nights with friends & family— especially making them laugh with my terrible jokes.
